How to Store a Sex Doll Torso Without Damaging It

Care GuideNov 02, 2026·934 words

Store a torso flat, dry, powdered and out of direct sunlight — and match the storage method to its weight, because our torsos range from 2.1 kg to 28 kg and a butt mold and a 28 kg half body have almost nothing in common. Nearly every storage mistake people make comes from treating all torsos the same.

Below is what actually works, split by the three weight classes we sell.

First: know which class yours is in

Compact torsos (2–6 kg): drawer or box storage

At this weight you have the easiest storage problem in the entire product category.

Mid-weight torsos (6–13 kg): under-bed or wardrobe floor

Full-size half bodies (14–28 kg): this needs planning

A 28 kg half body (HB-36) is heavier than plenty of full-size dolls. Treat it like furniture, not like a toy.

The five rules that apply to every class

1. It must be completely dry before it goes away

This is the rule that matters most. Any moisture left in the internal channel will grow mold in a closed box, and mold inside a channel is not something you can clean out. Dry it thoroughly — see how to clean a torso — then leave it in open air for a few hours before boxing it.

2. Powder it

A light coat of renewal powder before storage keeps the surface from going tacky and stops the skin from adhering to itself or to the cloth. Cornstarch works; talc is unnecessary. Re-powder when it comes back out.

3. Rotate it

TPE left in one position for months develops a permanent flat spot. Turn it over roughly every 3–4 weeks. Silicone holds shape far better and can go a couple of months, but rotating costs nothing so just do it.

4. Keep it away from heat and light

No direct sunlight — it yellows TPE and fades silicone paint over time. No radiators, no hot water tanks, no loft space in summer, no car boot. Room temperature, dark, dry.

5. Watch what it touches

TPE absorbs dye. Dark clothing, coloured towels, printed fabric — all of it can permanently stain a TPE torso in a matter of days. Store it wrapped in white or undyed cotton, never against coloured fabric. Silicone is much more resistant, but wrap it anyway.

What not to do

Travel and moving house

The original carton with its foam inserts is the right container — it was packed for exactly this. If you have discarded it, pad with soft cloth (not newspaper: print transfers) and make sure nothing can shift. A 22 kg torso sliding around in a car boot will scuff badly.

What storage damage looks like

Our warranty covers manufacturing and transit damage for three months — large-area damage is replaced, minor damage compensated proportionally. Gradual deformation from long-term poor storage is not a defect and is not covered. That is worth knowing before you put it somewhere hot, damp or under pressure.
